Gallatin Public Affairs

For more than 20 years, at the often complex intersection of business, government, politics and media, we’ve helped our clients overcome challenges, seize opportunities and grow. We are strategists, lobbyists, communicators, policy experts, researchers and organizers – experienced bipartisan professionals who are ready to help you succeed.

The name of our firm honors Albert Gallatin, a top policy and political advisor to President Thomas Jefferson. Gallatin helped to plan the Lewis and Clark Expedition – the first transcontinental expedition to the Pacific coast undertaken by the United States – and mapped out the area to be explored. His mastery of public finance led to his appointment as Secretary of the Treasury, where he served from 1801 to 1814, the longest tenure as Treasury Secretary in American history. His legacy is honored with a statue at the United States Treasury Building in Washington, DC.
